About Therapy

Therapy is open to everyone. We all face moments in life which can be challenging, where we can find ourselves feeling out of control, struggling to cope and in emotional pain. Therapy is a safe, confidential and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings in a way that is not always possible with friends and family.

There are many reasons why people may seek therapy. It may be that you have a specific problem that you want to focus on, or that you have a general unease or lack of meaning in your life. Perhaps you want to learn about yourself and explore ideas, thoughts and feelings you have. Or you may want to make sense of past experiences and pain from trauma.

Whatever your reason is for seeking therapy, finding the right person, who you can build trust with to explore some of your most difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences, is essential. Journeying with the right therapist can increase your self-awareness, which may bring about new possibilities and real change in your life. Therapy can also help you develop healthier strategies to cope with new challenges and past experiences.
